The full story

A longer narrative from the hiring manager — context, year-one outcomes, and how we work.

Why this role exists

PoultryCare is an operational intelligence platform for commercial poultry businesses including hatcheries, broiler farms, layer operations, feedmills, processing plants, and other poultry operations.

Customers depend on PoultryCare for their daily business operations. Incorrect calculations, missing data, broken workflows, reporting errors, or unexpected changes can directly affect how they work.

Our Testing team exists to make sure the product works correctly before customers depend on it.

We are hiring a Manual Testing Executive to test PoultryCare across different modules, features, screens, reports, and real-world business workflows. You will work closely with Development, Product, Implementation, and Customer Support teams to identify problems early, document them clearly, verify fixes, and ensure features are ready before release.

This is a detail-oriented role. You should enjoy exploring software, checking different scenarios, finding things others miss, and making sure the product behaves exactly as expected.

What you'll do

Test every feature from a user's perspective. Understand the requirement, prepare test scenarios, execute them manually, and verify that the feature works as expected.

Find and document bugs clearly. Identify unexpected behaviour, reproduce the issue, record the steps, expected result, actual result, and supporting screenshots or videos where required.

Test real poultry business workflows. Validate PoultryCare workflows such as sales, purchase, inventory, feed, mortality, bird sales, egg sales, reports, accounting, and other relevant modules.

Perform regression testing. Whenever a new feature or fix is introduced, check existing functionality to ensure that previously working features have not been affected.

Verify bug fixes. Re-test issues after Development completes the fix and confirm whether the issue is properly resolved before marking it as closed.

Test different scenarios and edge cases. Check normal, incorrect, incomplete, boundary, and unexpected inputs to identify problems before customers encounter them.

Maintain test cases and checklists. Build and update reusable test cases for important PoultryCare modules, features, and business workflows.

Work across teams. Coordinate with Development, Product, Implementation, and Customer Support teams to understand requirements, customer-reported problems, and release priorities.

What you'll have accomplished by year one

  • Built and maintained manual test cases for major PoultryCare modules
  • Established a consistent testing and regression-testing process
  • Identified and documented bugs with clear reproduction steps
  • Improved coverage across important product workflows and user scenarios
  • Verified fixes before features were released to customers
  • Reduced repeated production issues through structured testing
  • Built a strong understanding of PoultryCare's product and poultry business workflows
  • Improved release confidence across Development and Product teams
